This is just a quick photo of the blocks I will list Sunday Afternoon. A lot of the makers who missed out on the last batches of the 40s redwood asked me to give some advance warning next time I have this sort of burl available.

I still need to measure, photograph and price these but they should be able to be posted in the afternoon on 1/16. I can't do any presales out of fairness to everyone else. These were cut from a piece I talked an oldtimer in the redwoods into selling to me. I don't have much but it sure is good stuff.

This photo shows the blocks dry. They will be lots darker when finished.

These photos show both sides of the blocks wiped with a damp cloth to give a better idea how they will look finished. Before I got this wood it was stored outdoors so you should give it a week or so to acclimate to your area before using.

There may be some very fine hairline checks in the blocks that will be difficult to see in the photos. If you do not have these stabilized you will need to use a little CA glue on them much like you would with snakewood and other real hard woods. This is more old stock redwood that is way way harder than normal redwood.

When you see blocks you want, just post "I'll take #s ...." and I will mark them sold for you. US shipping is $2.50 each or $10 for as many will fit in a flat rate box. Free US shipping for purchases over $100.
