Extrema Ratio - Adra

Very daggery. the Suppressor is tight if you like daggers.. clean/sexy.. Weird Italians though =x

The A.D.R.A. (Arditi Distruttori Regia Aeronautica) operated during World War II in the North African territories and were awarderd two silver medal of honour.
The Adra battallion had the complex task to sabotage enemy military airports through missions in which they used new warfare techniques untill then unknown.

Sound of trumpets! Ta-Daaa! My dad's guys went right past these heroes in North Africa and on up through Italy! :D

My layman's opinion is that they look like efficient tools for stealth killing.
I'm edtiing my post to state this: No disrespect, but you should not buy these knives. Clearly they are not the knives for you.

Why is that?

daggers are daggers some are better than others but basically they have only one use, to kill. no go for hunting or camping or food prep. more important than these type of knives is the training that allows optimun use. the average joe is better equipped with a piece of pipe.---dennis

Nternal, you don't need them either. They are designed with one purpose only: killing. Logic dictates that anyone skilled in killing does not need an opinion on these knives. Thier purpose is obvious, and the company that manufactures them is well known to provide gear of mil-spec quality. Anyone in a tactical profession knows this information already.

Muahahahaha but I already got a dagger and killing will ensue.

Agreed.

In all seriousness I found a video on youtube of a guy reviewing the adra

I like that everyone automatically assumes he's actually going to "use" them and gets hot and bothered-- cause everyone here buys every knife for practical purposes. Maybe he just wants them for a collection and is asking about the quality?

Also, there are much cheaper perhaps also better options like the entrek commando and merc.Even the coldsteel black bear classic is cheaper than those knives.

I recommend the Fox (FKMD) Bellum over the ER Suppressor. IMO, it looks and feels better with its 3D machined G-10 vs. the ER's rubbery elastomer handles. They both use the same steel, and both have flawless grinds and finishes, but the Fox is roughly $100 cheaper.

I have absolutely no use for a dagger, but I enjoy them aesthetically for their purity of form. As far as I'm concerned, the Bellum is a thing of beauty that almost qualifies as an art knife.

The suppressor is very sexy. A really nice looking take on the stiletto. Meh on the Adra. I wouldn't buy either, as i have no use for a dagger, but I still think daggers are pretty sexy looking.

Agreed on all points (I haven't held the Suppressor though). The Bellum is a beautiful knife for the collection if you're into this particular style of blade.

I think that any purposebuilt self defense or military dagger that costs more than about 70 dollars uses the wrong materials or is a showpiece.
