Nonbox, did you really expect Frank to say that the Strider was the tougher knife?

These knives look solid as a rock. The more I look at them, the more I like them. Maybe I missed this, but what are the handles made of?
 
Anticordal Aluminum (an Italian name...go figure) It is a VERY hard Aluminum that is milled and black in color. BTW the pocket clip is drilled and tapped on both sides and the off side has hex screws so no holes are showing. Knife comes with two hex wrenches...one for pocket clip and one for blade hex screw.

Is this "Type III Mil Spec Anodized"? i.e. the same as "hard anodizing"?
