Well now I feel like an *ss.
They DID do a spine whack test!

They also got both locks to fail. You will see what it took to do that.

It also was not an SMF.....

My memory isn't what it used to be.

Please accept my apology.

Anway here's the link. I'm surprised I found it. It was AWOL for a while and I thought it had been removed.

No need for an apology mate :) I too have gotten facts wrong many a times and you had good intentions :)

Thanks for the link, I've heard but never found these tests. Thanks a lot

Saw it. The resistance against closing forces is lower than a Strider liner lock but the safety was not activated. I would have loved to see a picture of the Fulcrum's mode of failure. If the lockbar to blade cutoff contact area experience shearing failure then the safety would not made a difference.

Based on what I read on the website. I still feel that it is not worth the money and the design "could have been much better". It is a design where one merely fattened up the components of a conventional lockback without true understanding of the strength/weakness or even the expected mode of failure. The ergos is too big an issue for me, didn't the designers realise the crappyness of the grip (even Dark Ops had better grip)? However the safety feature of the ER folders is the only innovation I give them credit and that's all I can give truly.

When I first heard of them, I had no interest, but they are starting to grow on me. I can see getting one used
