was looking at that advertisement magazine called 'tactial blade', and they have ads er articles on things nifty.
they had one on the becker extreme. i've been wondering about this blade for a while, and the article actually said a couple things which made me smile. the rest of the article was good pitch though :}
first off, the fit and finish on the blade is VERY good. there's **NO** coating, just a sort of finish i'd associate with a tumbler or something kinda bead-blasty. very smooth. the edge is apparently a double bevel and thin. ahaha. also those micarta scales.
now, S30V is spendy, sure, but they put more effort into making this than a coated typical becker. so, more effort, more $$$. reminds me a lot of the older original beckers. i expect in the next 5-10 years, people will seek this knife out more, but for the big $$$ they want for it... we'll see.
i like it. it's on my list now.
