The ones you hear about are: TSF Beast, Direware Hyper-90, Demko AD-10 and Medford Praetorian Ti.
Also, I highly recommend the Boker Minos which is extremely well-made (as good as most customs) in Germany with titanium handles and frame lock. The 3.1" long blade of N690BO steel is 0.20" thick! Here's a review: The Edge Observer: The Böker Minos designed by Jens Ansø. I have many tough use folders but this one is currently tops.

Are you saying that you would actually hard use an expensive custom knife? You have balls my friend.
If I were you I would get all the "built like a tank" and "extreme duty" custom knives I wanted but when it came time to hard use a knife....
Whip out a cold steel Triad folder or Buck 110.
It's not worth messing up a beautiful custom made knife.
