I think I posted a pic of this knife before, but I shot it again with my new set up. Michael J. Smith D/A, stainless Damascus blade, blued Eggerling bolsters, Mother of Pearl scales, gold plated screws. This is one of the nicest knives I have ever seen from Mike.

That is really shweeeet! :) I've been wondering what Michael's been up to lately....obviously a lot of good! :D Thanks for sharing.

MIke will be set up at the Guild Show. The Damascus is high polished and etched lightly. It looks awesome. The etching is a tad more prominent than the pic shows.

Agree with Chef... high contrast is ok, the subtle stuff I tend to like better.

Whose stainless damascus? Norris, Thomas, Damasteel? (hard to see damask pattern in digital when subtle etch...I'm guessing that's a Thomas tight ladder).

Bob-

Excellent photo of a gorgeous knife! Great work on both accounts. :)

Call me crazy, but that top edge looks sharpened... But then again it would have to be a man with deep pockets to carry a knife of that order in his pocket... ;)

Thanks for sharing,
Nick

I agree with everyone above. That is a great picture of an awesome knife. The blued bolsters really set this knife off...
