I finally got around to taking some pix of this little khukuri so feel free to treat your Mark I eyeballs to nice work by Sanu.

Click here to see. Pix are 800 x 600 and were taken with a Nikon 880 Coolpix digital camera over 3 minutes with no special prep.

Enjoy!:)

Harry,

Great pictures, but I have one question. On the ChanpurrI (I know I'm spelling it wrong, but presently I don't have the presence of mind to fix it) Who made the brown leather scabbard? Is this terry'work or did jag and prem have this scabbard made? It looks kind of marbled and I love it.

I was so tired by the time I got to Uncle Bill's that day I didn't really look at it that closely.

Harry, that is a world class khuk. I think I said it before but I'm glad it made it out to you instead of getting confiscated for use by Nepal's new king.

PS: as appreciative of yours as I am, I've still got Sanu's Sun, Moon, and Stars which is my Excalibur. So I can be happy for you without being envious. Everyone who is serious about sharp steel should have a magical sword.

Oh My Gawd!!!!
Harry I really, really do like what was done with my design!!!!!!!
That is Beyond Gorgeous!!!!!!!
Congrats to you for getting it and Congrats to Sanu for doing such a Beautiful Job!!!!!!!
I am Totally Blown Away as I had no idea how the kami that done the blade was gonna pull it off so that it would "look proper" and in scale!!!!
I just had a premonition that it was gonna turn out like the Super Salyan and be a "stubby" khukuri. It dayumed shore ain't that!!!!
Perfectly executed!!!!
It tickles me to death that it turned out this well if you can't tell.;):D

Now a couple or so questions if you don't mind.:).........

How thick is the spine?

What's the width of the blade at the widest part of the belly?

What's the width of the blade at the bolster?

Is it possible to tell how thick the blade is in the center of the fullers? A WAG will do.:)

And what's the thickness at the top of the edge bevel?

Rusty, are you sure you didn't use a tripod for those shots....Just lookin' at them gives me the shakes. That is true artwork :D

Harry,

Very nice indeed! And I liked your presentation also. I haven't used iTools yet, but maybe I should go and try it out...

Uhhh Walosi, Apothecary is the one who got the Mega YCS and took the shots.;)

He did do an excellent job though.:D

And the MegaYCS ain't too shabby either:)
Seriously, not a single word that came to mind while looking at those pics was suitable for a family oriented forum. On reflection, I'll just say: awesome!

WOW!........................................................................ :) ..................... ............................ ;) ........ :D ... I guess I really mean:

WOW!

Not the 1st time I've seen someone almost speechless in here.:D

Now what do you think the possibilities of getting the British Officer's Khukuri made to your specifications?;):D
