Eye Dimensions on the Cold Steel Vietnam Hawk

I was wondering if anyone had the eye dimensions. I have some hafts that might serve better than the one included, and I am thinking of a project for a family member. Thanks in advance.
 
Iam at work right now but when iget home will measure it for you i would be very intrested in what your gonna use the handles that come on them now are really there weak spot . Unless somebody beats me to it .
 
I have some handles from another hawk that has a smaller eye than the trad. cold steel hawks. Also, I am thinking of modding some straight axe or hammer hafts. I just want to make sure I can match things up before I buy.
 
Was thinking of doing the same thing want to make the haft a few inches longer than the stock one. Havent broke mine yet but i dont throw it or get crazy with it spent to a long time getting a servicable edge on it . Be nice to have something a little more stronger than the haft it came with .
 
EDIT; I didn't notice Legion12 was going to measure his for you. I have hereby sticken my hearsay from the record. :)
 
Got those measurments there 17mm by 27mm and the haft thru head is 23mm hope these help let me know if you need anything else.
