 Ok make a joke or two....:D
I have a question on what are the tools that make a hole in a Hawk Head or a Hammer head. What are they made of? Do you have any resources I could look up?
Thanks:thumbup:

Thought that was what happens when the good looking girls go by... or some kinda vision problem. Well, if the wife catches you, you might be seeing stars...
Where is Ray? He has to know...

You can also make one out of just about any old steel you have laying around. That said, John at Blacksmith Supply has them. They may or may not be listed on his website, but if you give him a call he'll take care of you.

I have a tear dropped shaped one that came from the blacksmith's depot,my oval one came from the blacksmith supply. The rest that I use most often are made from car axles and one from a semi truck spring. The ones I made I got the basic shape under the power hammer and finish by grinding. You can actually buy them alot cheaper than making them and it takes time that you could be making hawks. But there were some shapes and sizes that were not offered.

Thanks for the info,
I think I will by my first ones and make my own to for a custom fit later.
Thanks Again!!!!
