eyelet question

I would like to buy an Eyelet setter from Eyelet Enterprises (model j-3 eyeletting machine 617 282-4700).I use .060 and .093 thickness Kydex.
Can anyone tell me what size eyelets I should buy? Also, where can I purchase them in black brass.Thanks.

I have been using 8-8 eyelets from Blade-Tech for up to two layers of .093
Give me more info on this eyelet machine. Does the company have a web site? How much?
I have been using a punch and anvil setter that I had a local machinest make for me. It works but its not fool proof and its slow.

Hey Mick....

2 X 0.60 = 8:8
2 X 0.80 = 8:10
2 X 0.93 = 8:10-8:12

As far as I'm concerned hand setting pliers are a waste of time. I can do it much faster with a home made setting tool for $5.00 at Ace.

If you are serious about getting one, get a table top or a foot press, don't fool with pliers.
