ez lap model m

Any one ever get good results with one, I would really like to use one for feild sharpining but just can't seem to get good results with one. I can get super edges with just about any thing else but the ez lap model m, any ideas?

i havent used that one but i had one like it. i never really got good results but i never really learned how to sharpen well either. i am not sure how you are trying to use it but i would try to use it like you use the sharpmaker (have the rod stationary at an angle and then draw the blade down it, switch sides, repeat
