I have an F. Dick model Dickoron butcher's steel made the F. Dick company of Berlin Germany. This is not a discount store item. It came from a professional restuarant supply company. I have used F. Dick steels for about 4 years now with excellent results. This steel is practically new and still has the plastic case that it came in new. It is "oval" shaped and has what F. Dick calls the saffire cut. I am sure you guys in the meat/restuarant business know all about that. I would like to trade this for a Spyderco or Benchmade knife or maybe another sharpening device.
