F. Hartkopf - my very first "real" damascus blade

Wow, Andi, that one's a stunner! Love the Rosendamast, looks great.
I really like most of the knives you show; they seem to have a very German style to them, which I suppose is appropriate. ;)
 
That damascus looks really nice--like it would have a holographic effect when you tilt it back and forth in the light.

Now I´m carrying it almost for some days and I need to say, that the blades keeps its edge quiete well and it´s great to have in the pocket. I really like it.

RobbW: Yeah, it´s some kind of holographic effect in some way. It´s great to fondle with the knife a little ;)

Alex: I think I know what you mean. I really love the traditional german styles. They are a little different from the american traditional knives, but not that much. An untrained eye wouldn´t realise the differences :D
