Had my friend Nik Jenkins make me a new spyderfly blade out of some of his very best Damascus. Note the damascus tang pins. They appear to be oversized at first glance, but the fit and finish is very nice. I believe this was Nik's first serious look at a balisong knife, what he has accomplished here is simply stunning. I was going to eventually cut off the rings on the handles and add some rare earth magnets so it would latch in both the open and closed position. It will work, I've seen it done.
