Terry has been a real pioneer with rare earth magnet latches on balisongs. I have had the pleasure of owning a few, and this one is perfect in every way. Using 2 polished barrell style magnets , one on each handle, gives the perfect amount of catch to hold the knife securely in either the open or closed position, with the handles and magnets never making contact with one another, thus no latch damage.
Terry shaped the perfect Mastadon Ivory scales like bamboo for grip, and they are complimented with his own beautiful mosaic pins and mirror polished bolsters. ...and, of course, Terry's chisel ground tanto profiles are second to none. This one is two-tone satin mirror(not an easy task). Scalpel sharp.
