I have a Custom Hollow Handled Survival Knife you have never seen as the person that made it only made #20 of them and Gil Hibbon said the person he trained was one of the best students he ever had.! He joined the Knife Guild and then got married and I guess he got married and she did not like Knives and he quit making them and when I called him he was short and to the point ""I don't make Knives anymore"" period.!! It has been a Safe Queen for many a year now but I did see #9 at a Nashville Knife Show and it went for $1,200 about 7 years ago.!** It is a shame that anybody that has a very good product that is made by hand that has to give it up because someone wants that person to stop for the sake of love.! Glad it was him and not me as I would have been Divorced with-in 30 days.! By the way ~~ mine was #20 and will cut a 2x4 like it was "Butter" and do it with 15 or so back pulls on the Top of the Blade.! Had to have it ( cost me $575 back then.!!

Cool story, wolf. Who's the maker? Any chance of posting a pic? Thanks!
