I purchased a f1 not long ago and the handle is a bit small for my hands. It has the zytel sheath, but I have a jre bushcrafter leather sheath for it as well. The sheath was given a mineral oil bath.
There are some blade scratches from going in and out of the sheath while just playing around with it. It has done some test cuts, e.g. paper, some wood shaving from a 2x4 in the garage and maybe a piece or two of cardboard. Never sharpened or stropped.
The Gossman is in used condition with a kydex neck sheath. It is cord wrapped and is the 1" wide blade. The OAL is 6". The handle is a tad small/uncomfortable for me. It has been on a number of camping trips. no prying, but has cut wood, and odd stuff around camp. It is scratched but is a good user.
Looking for (3/16 or 1/8 smallish 6.5-8.5" OAL all purpose user carry knife non skeletonized or cord wrapped for hiking, walking the dog, camping, backpacking, etc.):
1) Fehrman peace maker with satin finish (could make up value differential one way or another)
2) BRKT Pro Scalpel II
3) Another bushcraft option ?
