This YouTube video shows the complete fabrication of a Kephart Knife, including an interesting sheath design. It has an ASMR quality. I spent the time watching it, sharpening my Beckman-Horace Kephart BK62. I used my Belgium Blue and Green Vermont slate whetstones. This is the first time I used such stones on this blade. I ended up shaving the hair off my arms. 🤩

(For Me) My answer is that I'm Slow....
I personally feel that the Kephart is probably the perfect, general overall knife design. But, I've heard others think they aren't "up to date".
I love them.
I keep cutting them out of steel, but most of the time people want something else....
I Hope Nessmuks aren't as antiquated, cause I keep cutting Them, too..
Haha/ Ugh

The kephart knife reminds me of a duct knife we used back when I did HVAC work. Made quick work of the insulation and tubing with those knives.

You can see a lot of his work on his YouTube channel. They all look like something a frontiersman would carry in the Southwest.

Its got to look like Ole Horaces knife or its just not real Kephart.....LOL
