Face Shield Safety

I grind in a small enclosed space and fumes/fine dust hang in the air for a long time. I have an AO Safety half mask with filters rated for vapors. It fits me well and I can't smell anything when I have it on.

My problem is safety glasses fogging up. I read some previous posts and will try the anti-fog stuff used for scuba goggles. However, I've had grit hit right below my glasses and it worries me. I think I should go with anti-fog safety goggles like the ones here: http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/category/goggles.html

Here is my question.

It seems that a face shield would offer more protection and be more fog free. In a previous thread a poster said that his new face shield fogged up more than goggles. Anyone else have this experience?

More importantly, it seems to me that micarta fumes and very fine dust from a variety of grinding sources would come up under your face shield and be absorbed by your eyes and be processed through your liver. Is this a viable danger? That's the main reason I want the goggles.

I'd buy a full face mask, but I get hot and sweat so much that I'd like to have a little more ventilation. Thanks.
