Factor Equipment knife experiences?

So.... The Iconic Titanium Compact came in today. Holy cow. It's really nice. Like really, really nice. Not that I own a bunch of high end knives or anything like that, but it's easily the highest quality knife I own. I can't believe I got this for $65.

I've heard Factor Equipment has several knife designs in the pipeline that should be coming out within the year or so. I think I'm going to wait and see if they stick to original designs, and if so, I'll probably pick up another of their knives. If the build quality of this is any indication of how the rest of their knives are built, they are a steal at the prices FE is asking. The only negative I can really say about the knife is that I think the F is gawdy.

I have the Factor Iconic Compact CF and the full size Ti. I like them both.

I also grabbed an Absolute Compact a little while back. I like that one too, except the pocket clip. It sucks. It needs to be more rounded on the underside. It is more difficult to get in and out of your pants than it needs to be. I haven't carried it much but I can see it chewing up my pants in short order.

In all, I like the Iconics are better than the Absolute, but, the action on the Absolute is better than on the Iconics. The Iconics aren't bad at all and are actually quite nice, but the Absolute is better.

It’s smaller compared to the original and a good EDC size. It has great ergonomics, outstanding blade shape, nice carbon fiber, and a very smooth action. I added a deep carry clip.

Hi, I know this is an older post but I hope you still see it. I recently acquired the Iconic Compact Ti. I am looking for a different clip. What kind did you put on yours? Where did you get it? Any info would be appreciated.

Hi, Jason. I got this clip from MXG Gear. Not sure if there’s a part number, but on my invoice it’s called “Custom Made Titanium Deep Carry Pocket Clip For Zero Tolerance ZT0456 - Plain.” Works great.

Ummm...didn’t we determine on Page 1 of this thread that the Factor Iconic was stolen from Giant Mouse and they were “voluntarily” going to discontinue it, yet a year and a half later we’re talking about OMGHOWEFFINGAWESOME Factor Iconics are?

Now we’re asking which aftermarket clip for a ZT will fit my clone Factor knife?

Seriously, BF...you’re acting like reddit or “likethesesknifes.com”.

We need to do better than this.

you have no idea how happy I am to have found your comment. I picked up an iconic compact after wanting one for years, did a custom anodization on it and it is literally the nicest looking knife I own. I then immediately broke the pocket clip in half when it got snagged on a patio chair and factor seems to be completely defunct and has no customer support. so glad I'm able to salvage this knife with a deep carry clip.
