You could always use some wet/dry sandpaper and try stropping the edge. That's how I usually reset most of my edges. I'd probably use 180 since that's what I can find around here, and maybe finish on 1500 or some leather.
The only caveat, is that low of a grit usually loses its bite pretty quickly.
