Gary,

You could always use some wet/dry sandpaper and try stropping the edge. That's how I usually reset most of my edges. I'd probably use 180 since that's what I can find around here, and maybe finish on 1500 or some leather.

The only caveat, is that low of a grit usually loses its bite pretty quickly.

Any luck yet Gary? I've got the Worksharp Guided Benchstone, and I just sharpened a Griptilian just using the 320 grit diamond plate. Then I stropped it a bit, and now it's got a toothy, very sharp edge. I did the same with a Spyderco Delica Wharncliffe, and I'm finding I have to sharpen it a lot less than I did when I was using a polished edge.
 
In the midst of moving to a new house
Very hectic time right now as the new house needs a lot of work. :(
