Factory second Military sprint help

Well upon further inspection it is almost for sure a second. Looks like the blem is the bottom most jimping on the choil.

Actually many of the M4 Millies had the bad jimping on the choil. The blem issue is probably something else.

By the way, all this seconds information is greatly appreciated. As you may notice, I'm a huge KA-BAR/Becker fan, and for some reason, the seconds ID on those knives is a guarded secret. I'm not sure if that makes any sense to be secretive but.....anyway, I digress.

I double checked, and it's all long gone. It was just some oil from the factory. In a production run sometimes you might get a little dust, crud, or whatever along with your oil. One good wash and it's clean.
