Fail

That sucks...Its the second ZT ive seen on BF with this issue. The first one was a 0550. Not that its any consolation. Hope the issue is resolved quickly.

Since your out of town with no usable knife, i suggest you cease the chance and buy yourself something sharp :D

These things can happen, but rest assure you'll be taken care of. I'm glade I got a one with a SN so high, mine has been perfect. So much so that I haven't carried any other knife since I got it, and that's really saying something.

Honestly I blame us knife addicts for ANY issues with these knives. There is a lot of pressure on kershaw and ZT to pump these things out. With demand high and supply low they are working like dogs trying to get these things in our hands. A few "issues" are bound to arise. I will say though that my knife has given me 0 issues.

The last time I removed one of Kershaw's press fit thumbstuds I used a hammer (and I take the blade off the handle first). If you're going to adjust one that's lop-sided your thumb probably isn't going to be enough.

Not sure if i need to fix it. The knife seems to work well, i just curious that will the lopsided stud going to be problem later?

If that was mine I would try a big c-clamp or a vise and a small socket. Just go nice and slow until you get it nice and centered.
