Fair trade help

I know this is not the place to put up a trade but I was wondering if I am out of line in the trade I am wanting.I put my Pheasent Tail up for trade for a Lg plain Classic with no interest.Then I added a a 100.00 knife to it for a wood classic with no interest.
Now I am thinking that I may put the Pheasent Tail a blue Native 3 and spyderco Lil Temp leaf up for a LNIB Classic wood inlay,is this a fair offer?
 
u812, it's a tough call. I'm a bona fide Sebenzanista myself. I've already got 8 CRK knives: folders and one-pieces. Personally, I always felt that the Pheasant Tail was the most elegant graphic he's done.

But if I were to want one, I'd buy it. It would be hard to part with another Sebenza that I also liked, which is why I got it in the first place.

So what you are waiting for is the one, probably rare person, who has what you want and wants what you have. What are the odds? Being on the Sebenza level, I'd guess he's probably already bought a Pheasant Tail.

Anyway, when it comes to high-end knives, sale or trade, some of the best can sit and sit, even at a nice price. I've seen it time and again on these forums. Then a month or two later, a buyer pops up on an old thread and asks, "Is this still available?" Bingo!

It just takes patience. I know, who wants to be patient!? "I want my new knife and I want it NOW !!!" :D :D :D

A trade of your pheasant for a plain would be a good dea, I don't know why no one was interested.

Pheasant + cash might work, it might take some time as ESav says. I pretty much got rid of all my misc spydercos to get sebenzas. I imagine that's pretty common. Trading "up" is sometimes difficult.

My suggestion is to sell the pheasant tail, various spyderco's individualy, then buy a woodie with those funds.

Yup, I'll give ya $225 for the Pheasant tail:D

Throw in the Spydercos and zi'll make it $226:p :p ;)
 
Yeah,I guess its just a waiting game.I have also noticed that Sebenzas come and go.They will be very few for sell or trade for a long time and then all of a sudden there are dozens up for sell.
I just got to wanting a woodie but I like the Pheasant Tail so I guess I will hang on to her.Just took it apart and cleaned it up real good today.
 
It's always easier to find the money for a new knife than to replace one you wish you'd never let go. Keep the Pheasant Tail.
