There is a gentleman I know who would like to commission a knife to be made. A recreation of the Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife. Besides having one recreated, he would like the Military Intelligence insignia somehow incorporated in the guard/handle/wherever feasible and nicely represented.
He would be supplying an actual MI insignia that would be used to incorporate into the knife. If at all possible, a presentation box to be made as well. This is meant to be a gift to a fellow colleague and if he really likes it, would like to commission more to be made.
He is not looking for the latest and greatest of steels to be used, so his price range for this particular one is $200-$400.
