In one of the more recent Smoky Mountain Knife Works catalogs, they offer what they call Lewis International Sheffield Knives (manufactured by J. Nowill & Sons in Sheffield) Sykes/Fairbairn Commando knives "manufactured to the same Ministry of Defense specifications issued in 1949." The knives have straight oval guards rather than the original curved s-guards.

The Smoky stock number is LI71490, $39.99 USD.
