I wanted it to be thick, nasty, light, balanced and compound ground... it just came together. I have always been intrigued by Japanese swords and the compound grind idea came from the way they do their tips... obviously much different but I like unique grinds.

I soaked the cord wrap today on this one and it is looking good! More photos as soon as it dries! :D

When I was into doing stone scales on knives I was always trying to buy one of those older carbon steel ones from this guy at the flea market, lol he wanted a fortune for it because of the high carbon steel! They sure are cool.

Oh man I'm sorry about that, I should mention these things. :o On the bright side that skinner is looking sweet!

I do plan on more in the future, I have had a lot of requests for this one.
 
She ended up really nice.
I like all of her, wrap and sheath.
I bet she is sharp as well.
Cool knife.
