Fake Buck-Strider Solution?

One of my Russian fellow noticed that Strider logo and Bos mark are not stamped but laser engraved. See pics

What do you think? Could it be counterfeit?

I have never seen one laser marked...but that does not necessarily mean that Buck never did that. I will ask around and see if I can get a good answer for you on that.
