so, I own a couple of Medfords. the other night I was on line, (drunk) and came across "sharpmedford.com". bought a knife using pay pal. immediately realized I had made a mistake and tried to cancel through pay pal. they won't cancel it or open a claim until I receive the knife. does anyone have any knowledge of this website? I seriously doubt if I'm even going to get any knife, much less a real medford. any knowledge would be appreciated.

It's a total scam site. It has several telltale signs.

1. They are using pictures taken from Blade HQ (that's the Blade HQ logo behind the knives in the pics).

2. They are offering very expensive, hard to find (or impossible to find) knives at a fraction of their normal prices.

3. Neither the street nor the address they have listed on their contact page shows up in a Google search.

4. For some odd reason they put "DLT Trading" in the upper left hand corner of their website. DLT Trading is the name of a legitimate online knife retail site.

Like I said, total scam site.

I hope you can get your money back from Pay Pal.

There are MANY such scam sites on the internet, featuring a wide variety of brands. Beware, and ask here before you give them your money.

This happened to me on what I believe was a phony Ka-Bar site.

thanks, I just wonder if they'll send me ANY knife, or, if they just stole my money.

That site is yet another KnifeSilo clone. You won't receive a knife, fake or otherwise.

Shopping drunk is a fast track to sleeping on the couch.
