Sound like only use and time will tell if it's fake. Maybe less time if it fails so badly right away.

Fake or real Spyderco Paramilitary 2 S110V

Looking at the wrong places. There are two dead giveaways on fake pm2's.
1. Fakes use stamped liners because they are a lot cheaper. Stamped liners don't have the little notch seen in the circled areas.
2. They also do not bother with the cutouts or they do them differently. An authentic PM2 should have 3 cutouts as indicated in the pic by the yellow lines.
As a 3rd giveaway, I don't think I have seen a fake PM2 in an upgraded steel yet. They usually just fake the s30v versions. However, I am not 100% on this. The things in the pic though I am sure about.
EDIT: Yes, it is real. I didn't see your https://imgur.com/RV4PdkA pic until after I posted. The spar notches and the cutouts are correct.

Thank you Mordhause for the clarification and the picture shown above , its really clear and easy to refer the authenticity of my Spyderco Pm2 and thank you everyone for the effort and time for helping me authenticate my Spyderco PM2 S110V. I really love my Spyderco's Knives
.I have seen a fake pm2 marked as s110v. It was a terrible fake. Someone I work with bought it and as soon as they handed it to me to check out I said FAKE. It had sky blue G10 instead of blurple, but you could have told it was fake with your eyes shut. It just felt that bad.
