Fake Sebenza

I'm curious - I've shipped folding knives to Canada before for about $5. When does it cost $35?

I've shipped knives from italy to usa for 15-20$, got knives shipped here for 15$ via small usps box, 30$ with fedex or DHL
shouldn't cost more from USA to Canada, maybe 10-15$ with a small box priority?

it looks like an early 21, early 2000's?
but it's pretty beaten, price should be right around 200$ even if it's old

save for a new one, just got a small CGG, lightly used for 310$ off the marketplace (over 100$ savings), keep looking and good luck!

Some are saying this knife is in rough condition, but I am unsure how one could surmise the mechanical condition of it without having handled it. Are the scales marked up? Yes. Is it mechanically sound? Who knows. From what I can see the screws don't look stripped, but appear to have been used quite a bit. The edge at the ricasso looks to be in good condition and doesn't appear to have much of the edge removed from sharpening. The "swedge" looks more like some heavy scratches than any serious grinding efforts.

That being said, I wouldn't pay $250 for it. A NIB small 21 is $350. I just sold a NIB small 21 on the exchange for $299. Deals can be found if you are patient. Save your money and get a NIB or LNIB small 21 with papers, box, cloth, etc for not much more than the $250 they are asking for this one.

Good thing you didn't pull the trigger, IMO. Just be patient and you'll find a better one in better condition and maybe even for a better price.
I was able to buy a large classic micarta off of an auction site for just over $280 and it is in great condition.
Good luck:)

My suggestion? Find a trustworthy person in the states and have them ship it to you. Get it for a much lower price. If such a thing is possible. From what I see in the pic of the blade, it isn't worth it, especially since that paperwork does give you certain entitlements with CRK.

I don't mean to derail the thread, but exactly what entitlements will a box and card bring?
I ask because my recently acquired user came with neither and I was considering sending her in.

I actually bought this knife. Just wanted to hear opinions on authenticity. Appears real to me, but I am no expert. Further opinions appreciated. Thanks.

Since you now own the knife, post up some detailed picks. Let the experts here see the level of fit and finish, and I would imagine you will get some fairly certain answers.
