Just recieved my new SOG Seal Team Elite off ebay. Something seems off. Is the knife and sheath on the left in the pictures genuine or a fake?

After googling around, I cannot find an image of a sheath with that particular logo (again on the left).

The right knife and sheath should be genuine(as it is from a trusted reseller), and is included in the pictures for reference.

Immediately noticeable differences is a brown-ish tint on the "fake" knife blade, lower quality sog seal team elite logo, different screws on the sheath, thinner snap strap on sheath, riveted nylon belt strap, compared to screws on the "genuine" sheath.

SOG does not think it is fake. What do you all think?http://bildr.no/image/U2wyRlRF.jpeg

I think it is real. Factory knives can show some very minor differences, such as the SOG logo location on the blade relative to the grind line.
Also SOG has always been pretty notorious for using multiple versions of a sheath, especially the kydex ones. I wasn't even aware that the
sheath SOG logo had changed from the square. The Seal Team Elite has been in production now for I think 9 years and most of the photos
of the 37SE and the sheath on the internet, even SOG's own website are outdated. If SOG has seen these photos and advised that it is not a fake then I don't see much ground or benefit to dispute that.

I just bought one off ebay as well, mind sharing who the sellers name is(if thats allowed to share here)?

Looks legit. As Ken has said, SOG has had so many changes over time of many of their knives, sheaths and logos being a big one. If SOG says it is good, I would not worry.
