Fake Spyderco Cat?

Sorry to switch the subject...again..but that custom is a sweet little knife. I remember when the I first felt the tuff light. I thought it felt better in the hand then some spyderco's! Where does alan davis sell his knives at? Wonder if he does that knife in g10? cool wood beads by thay!

Some advice on the CF Cat. They are junk. Even the non factory second CF versions are junk. This is compared to the G10 version.

I guess I didn't have the same experience as you with the Cat/Chicago CF models, Willy. I checked around and handled as many as I could find. I found a set of CF knives that were well-made and beautiful. I like the s30v steel better than the 440 on the G10s, too. They are excellent knives if you've put your hands on a set with no QC problems...

I ordered a Cat yesterday and should have it tomorrow (Friday). Be careful when ordering if it matters to you whether you get jimping or not. I called around to ensure I was getting one with jimping. You'd be surprised that even some of the popular/major online dealers are selling old stock (without jimping).
