Be aware that our criminal friends are selling fake ZT 630CFs now. The fakes look pretty good but they (1) have the 620s Carbon Fiber Scale Design (2) The blade steel is marked as S35VN, not M390 (3) The Trox screw on the frame lock bar is black on the fake, silver on the real one.
There were also reviews of fake 620CFs, and the counterfeiters are selling fake 456s too. The fake 456s have less anodizing in their main point screw, which has blue and orange colors in the real knife. The fake 456 also appears to have flat handles versus the real one which has grooves.
I noticed some of these fakes on you tube where the reviewers called them "replicas". I compared these two fakes against you tube videos from a reputable dealer.
Has anyone seen these in the wild? I always worry that knives purchased from trustworthy dealers are then returned, with the criminals returning a fake and pocketing the real knife. Hopefully must dealers reject returns.
