Fake ZT knives?

Nope that is fake as they come. I am the one that posted it over there for Thomas to see. It isnt the only one on there. If you search on the site they hit BM, CR,Buck. Ok lets just say they hit everyone. there is over 2000 knives listed, and they even have Dark ops.
 
That knife doesn't even look like any ZT models. I know it's supposed to look like an 0200, but it's way off the mark.
 
$8 dollar knife, $30 shipping...yeah, I'm pretty sure it's fake :D

items on dhgate.com or aliexpress.com are not fake, they websites themselves are fake, once you buy you wont see ur money ever again, and items wont be shipped also. look closer on the bottom of their website for the trusted thingy, ull see its simply copied and put it there in the frame of the website, u cant actually click it to check if its secure website or not. you might even lose all your money from the credit card will will go in China and gl getting them back. I already filed a complaint to internet police but no reply yet.
Look on dhgate.com and every item has only one review which are made by the same person . FAKE FAKE FAKE
 
I heard that some company called strider is making some, but they fit and finish is pretty terrible.

They drop as low as $2.32 each if you buy in quantity!

I don't know how anyone could even begin to believe they are real. Even with low hourly wages factored-in, the raw materials cost more than that.

I looked at that linked site, and found this:

"Sorry, this item is no longer available!"

...Darn, I was going to buy one, and put IT up for trade, rather than my REAL ZT 0200.:D.:D.
 
That site sells fakes of all kinds of brands. Look at the fake Extrema Ratios. and THEY DO SHIP. My friend works at a Scheels sporting goods and they have a bunch of those fake Extrema Ratio Kukri machetes for $20 and He said they order them off THIS site and re sell them there. You buy 100 kinives you end up paying only $2-$3 each and sell at flea markets( or Scheels) and make over 100x profit. Scheels doesn't say they are real ER knives. it just says "Machete" or "Hunting knife" for $15-$20. I don't think it's so bad to copy a cool design and make it available to poor people that need a machete. It's HORRIBLE to write "ZT" or "Exrtema Ratio" on the blade though.

and If You notice the "ZT" is gone because it SAYS ZT. The fake ERs and everything else is still there because it's not using the trademarked name. Just the general blade shape.

Yeah, They're so horrible that an entirely new line of knives( ZT) came out based on them.:cool:
 
Actually I shouldn't even comment about it. It's childish. I just get so sick of people in a mob mentality knocking Striders. They have CS like no company EVER. You can abuse it for fun. trade it, and the next guy can have it fixed under warranty. You take apart a BM and it's void.LMFAO. There's no other folder like them. Except maybe Hinderer, but good luck getting one. All the knives today that are super beefy with a Titanium frame lock and a G10 slab are based on their design. I've never had a folder give Me so much pleasure and confidence as My SMFs and SMF MSC Nightmare. Sebenzas are great, but a different animal. All ti that scratches up. Striders look better used. Can't say that about many knives.

Aliexpress is a real website. I bought a real $7 Sanrenmu knife through it using Paypal.
A credit card company will always refund for any non-delivery via a chargeback claim.

It's curious that even specialist knives that only have a limted market are being faked. Can't be many people daft enough to pay $50 for a fake.

Why even bother buying anything from a crap website like that. Even if you do get your $5 Serenmu is it worth it to support a business like that.
