Fake!?!

Thats a very good point!

That rule applied 4 years ago but these days clones are fooling many. Im not excusing or promoting them. I just think I need to be honest about what I am seeing. The way I see it if I tell people that clones are easy to spot when they arent I will be giving people a false sense of security. Id rather buyers err on the side of caution as even the most careful collectors have been getting taken on certain knives. Either way the knife you took pics of is real. Excellent find.

Quick update for those of you that care. I contacted Bradley Cutlery and Benchmade, both explained to me that the knife is in fact legitimate!

Just something to note, the way the handle is designed there really is no way to put a tip up clip on it, unless it was a shorty with a single single screw.

Wait, a gun show table guy would sell a fake!

JK, pictures are needed. The most common indicator of a fake is where you got it, and we already know that is suspect...l[/url]

I get many legitimate knives at gun shows. The only fakes I've seen regularly are automatic knives, usually OTF and chinese Italian stilletos. You know it's fake by the price or quality. When it comes to customs, I've seen what I believe to be a fake Lile and Shiva Ki, but both were poorly made. My best deal was a Buck Mayo for $40 and it's as real as the price is low.

My Alias is right hand, tip down only. There are no other clip mounting options on it.
