So, I guess these days I'm just lumped in with Shawna as an accessory, huh? :D I can't decide if i want to be offended or not.

Awww Richard cry me a river. Be glad I didn't qualify you as a kid. After your incident last time I'm not sure we can trust you with Sharp objects.
 
The kiddos b-day is the 27 so who knows what we will be doing. I have a complete lack of planning. I probably won't know till like 3 days before

*Seriously, I don't want to see anybody get hurt and this statement in no way constitutes any form of ill wishes or undue malice towards the participants in any past or future group camping trips...even if they make fun of me for a stupid accident for nearly an entire freakin' year.
 
awe-man it was funny at the time,you was not in serious danger of bleeding to death, just a serious sprained ankle with a slight laceration caused by a small hatchet ... pain pills and popping the air mattress worked wonders on your pain :D

New here and would have liked to have come for the day with the kids, but we have a ymca camping trip that weekend. Next time!
 
I would love to come but have started a new job and don't want to take off right away. Is there a way that I could rendezvous with the rest of the party on Friday afternoon/evening?
 
I know this may seem like a stupid question but I have never been on a camping trip with you all. Is this hiking in deep camping or camping in a fairly centralized location close to amenities? Are we car, truck, suv camping? If hiking in loading gear I need to know approximately how far I have a wife that due to medical reasons could possibly not be able to carry gear that far. So if we are going a ways in it might be just me and my son. I also need to know how will I find everyone coming a day late?
 
hi, we are going to check out the location this weekend, its not going to be a far hike in. just camp near the vehicles. the spot we were in was about half a mile from the restrooms we just piled in trucks and made potty runs.

the new spot is further from the restrooms so we will figure something out, i'll have more info on monday.

as for finding us, you can contact me by email and we will post directions on here as well. i'll give you my cell number so if you have trouble we can come find you.

I wanted to make this one, but seems timing has not worked out again for me. I look forward to the one i make it to though :)

The boys scoped out the new area we found. It will not work for the camp out. We will have it at the same place we had it last time.

The new spot would be fantastic. Isolated, quiet, right on the lake.... But there's very little room, what room there is is very broken up into smaller campsites and there's about a half hour drive on rough dirt track to get to any kind of bathroom facilities.
