Fall, or at least our version of it, is in full swing in the Florida panhandle. I managed to get away for a few days, spent the last few days down at our camp and also camping out on a creek a few miles away. Thought I would share a few pics.
The Cypress are losing their foilage.
Rufus tagged along to keep me company.
He loves to ride and take it all in.
The cool weather had the critters sunning.
The cool weather also allowed me to get up close to this wasp nest.
These things kinda creep me out when you just happen up on them.
They made Rufus a little uneasy too, he kept an eye on them and just gave them a low throaty growl.
This week is open for waterfowl. Took the shotgun along, and popped a couple of ducks, no call or decoys.
Returning to the camp. You can see the little house in the background, and the screened in kitchen area on the dock, We also have a fish/game cleaning station area over the water.
