Sorry about the snark and run last month fellas .The new job is keeping me busy and I find myself doing more in my off time too. I'm really enjoying it and I've even lost some weight already .

It looks like I missed out on the 62. It definitely looks likes good one. I just don't find myself using much more than my Vic Farmer or my Spyderco Native, so I probably didn't "need" it anyway .

The lakes here have finally frozen over recently, so it looks like I'll be hitting the lake for my first ice fishing venture of the season this weekend. I haven't been fishing for a few months, so I'm definitely looking forward to it .

Cbear, I've never suffered from depression, but I've seen what it can do. Fight through it bud. You'll get through it!
Not quite yet but soon:)

With a Vic Farmer in your pocket there isn't much you can't do though. Those Vics are always surprising what they can handle.

I have good days and bad days. More bad days than good but I appreciate the good days more. At least that is what I keep reminding myself, to appreciate the good days. Good to see you bud!
I have but it was a few years ago before the hurricane.

I stayed at the El Caribe. It was dated and not an all inclusive, but it had a lovely private beach.
I wonder how it fared the storm. I wonder if it got updated afterwards. I might look into it. Thanks.

what's that about Vic handling things on the farm?

in other news, got home before it got dark tonight - so I put on some tall boots and went out to look for bambi tracks in the snow.

I remember some sketchy elements outside the resort at night. During the day, no issue. Old San Juan and the fort was very cool. There was a restaurant called Marmalade that was glorious.

Aruba is always cool too. I’ve been there many times and would highly recommend it.

This alt+S thing is actually kind of vexing me! I don't even know why cause tab+Enter works just as well and it's the same button strokes but still it's just slightly vexing to me. I miss my Alt+S cause it's such a quick post method.

In other news, anyone here been to San Juan? I'm looking at maybe going to Puerto Rico but I want to find an all inclusive place for adults and I can't find one.

how about costa rica?

outpost dot com had a dozen 62s on the countdown clock for half price, then the price drops as the time does.

scooped those up :D

lol

I will never live any place again that doesn't have these. That's upstate NY but the wife and I are looking at places in Tennessee

I know a really awesome place for sale in the Smokies about 45 minutes from Knoxville -- really sweet house, 2 story shop/studio/storage building, 56-ish acres of hillside and ridge with a cabin overlooking the Little Tennessee River by the Chilhowee dam.... and a motivated seller.

Might that be Ethans old homestead:thumbsup:
