Fall Trip To Kentucky

Here is a couple of photos of our trip down to Kentucky. The fall leaves were outstanding and very beautiful to see. And yes thats me standing by one of my sons. Chris has leukemia, and is being treated in Indianapolis, Indiana at a children's hospital which specializes in children. He been in treatment for about a year and half. The country in Kentucky is quite beautiful this time of year. You just cannot imagine what is was like seeing the look on Chris' face when he looked up at the falls as the water came over the top. We rented a cabin down there up on a large hillside at the Cumberland Resort. The food was great and the beer was good. I also pick up two knife order's there. Everyone needs to take a little trip now and then in order to be able to enjoy what God has given us.

I pray that Chris will pull through his troubles with flying colors.

Yes, Kentucky really has some nice scenery this time of year, but then again I'm a little biased being a native and all. Wish only the best for your son. If you ever get to Northeastern part of the state look me up, I'll give you the grand tour.
