Fall TV Shows and the bK-4

i used to live up that way... near Chateaugay, well, a touch more East but not far :D

Tomar's is a bit more east at Mooer's

good place to see the Northern Lights

As Granitestateofmind will attest, this place makes Valley Forge look like Miami.

The wife is a good sport and tougher than most, and good looking to boot!

And hey, no bugs!!

hahaha! that would be my wife's vision of hell... epic thread!

Sounds about Like Churubusco,

Cracks me up when I order from Tomar's, about roughly 30 miles as the crow flies, but the knife has to go to Plattsburgh, then Albany, then back to Plattsburgh then to Chateaugay.

Technically, I don't live in Chateaugay, I live down behind the Lakes. Not on the water, up in the hills in the low rent district.

Except chances for running into a dangerous snake in NH are pretty close to nil even in the summer. And if you get bit by a Garter snake, you hardly even bleed; their fangs are very small and very sharp. One might not even notice. And they're not known for attacking humans, so you'd have to be trying a little bit just to get your hand near enough to one to have it bit. Needless to say, I stalked a lot of them when I was a kid. So, no worries about snakes. If, however, you've ever been chased off a mountain (or heli-lifted off) by a swarm of blackflies, you'll understand why "no bugs" becomes a compelling reason to be out in the winter...

No bugs is definitely a good thing,

Snakes here are not really much of an issue.

Now spiders, that's another story. We have spiders here that can carry off a small kitten.

It's beginning to look like the grass will not be seen again until spring, this was Friday afternoon and it has been snowing on and off ever since. 16 degrees at the moment.

No, but it was recently stripped and buffed. The coating was past it's prime.

I have toyed with forcing something, but I may just let it go natural like my 15,

Although, I liked the tiger strip Mustard, Vinegar, and hot sauce one I saw around here somewhere.

It looks great like that, buffing it made a nice uniform color too it.. I scrubbed my 15 with a scotchbrite pad and it removed the patina I had going on it, but I like the dull color it gave the metal.
