I had this made as a heavy duty work knife. The forward swept design puts the edge out there and makes for a very efficient cutter.
.25 thick differentially hardened 5160 with a 4 inch blade. Shows a hamon! It has been used on my jump bag for a couple years. Blade is sporting some scratches. Not abused by any means. Had the edge worked by RichardJ recently.
