Just came about ten minutes ago. This thing is a monster, couldn't wait till tomorrow to go out in the woods so I took it out back for a couple minutes. It feels great in the hand, is sharp, we will see how the steel hold up. I really like 3v, first time trying CoS colbolt steel.

Oh wait, it's my girls birthday tomorrow. We will have to go for a nice romantic walk in the woods. 😁

Its a beast,:D

Welcome to the A1 Pro Brotherhood!:thumbup::cool:

Not as tough or as edge holding as 3v but sharpens like a dream and holds that high sharpness like a champ and very,very responsive to stropping and honing.

Really shines when you pull the edge back and blend it into the convex grind with a fine polish for woodcraft type work.

Or leave it with the micro bevel and keep it toothy for more survival hard use type work.

This is hands down my favorite "one tool knife" and I've tried alot of 'em :D

Your review helped me get this beauty. I did strop litley with 2 micron diamond paste, then on leather. I'm looking forward to using this gem. Thanks. 👍
 
Yup, I've watched all of those plus about 5 or 6 others. Wasn't amazing sharp out the box, I enjoy sharpening and stopping most of my knives to the way I like them.
 
Congrats!! That is a great looking knife. I haven't owned a Fallkniven in eons. I LOVE that A1 Pro.
 
Congrats!

I only have the standard A1 and I'll tell you even that one is a beast. It's just one of the knives I know I will keep for the rest of my life due to the experience I've had of putting it through super hard use and seeing first hand how well it performs.

A1(and even more the pro) is the king of batoning and it can do pretty much all other knife related tasks pretty darn good as well.
 
Thank you guys, this is my first fallkniven. I seen in the videos, it's a batoning beast.
