Got a chance to examine several knives over the weekend at a Gun Show, was wondering what the consensus on the A-1 is,ie durability of handle and sheath, edge holding, and resharpening?
Thanx Ravenn

Hey Ravenn..

I think you'll find that alot of people like myself Really like the AI...

It is a strong dependable knife, and for the price,, it will be hard to beat.. I've used mine quite a bit and it has done very well for me..

Personally I don't think you can go wrong with the purchase....

Hope this helps..

Also, you may want to try the search feature here and in the Reviews Forum. This is a popular knife. You should find lots of info on it readily available.
I've had one for many months now and it has seen mostly yeoman chopping duty which it does very well for a knife it's size. It also seems to hold a very keen edge.
I hope this helps.

Hey Eric, do you have a good picture of yours, like the blade profile (side view, in other words)?

Also, do you have a picture of a sheath that might have made for an A1? And would you have to have, say, MY A1 in hand to make a sheath for it? Or are the tolerances tight enough on the knife, and loose enough on your sheath, that one A1 sheath works for all?

Sorry, I'm just full of questions today.

The knife is well made. I like the VG-10 and I like the convex grind. The factory kydex sheath is good. If you want a high-ride sheath, Eric's sheaths are the ticket.
That said, I don't like rubber handles. They can separate from the tang.

No I won't need your knife,,mine will be fine..

Let me know what you think..

Thanks Kevin, that is exactly what I was looking for. Although, hopefully Erik still comes back in and answers my other questions.
