Fallkniven A1

After some research, I just purchased a Fallkniven A1 as a replacement for my CS SRK. Question: what setting should I use on my Sharpmaker to keep the VG-10 on the Fallkniven sharp - 40 or 30?

why not use a strop ? can buy one pretty cheap anywhere they sell knives,,or make one yourself ,,pretty easy

That's a convex edge knife so the best way to sharpen it is by stropping (as noted above by vic2367) rather than on a Sharpmaker.

Fallkniven uses a full convex edge on their A1. Follow rifon2's advice and it should be easy to maintain.

Great knife. Mine came with an incredible edge. Very sharp.
