Fallkniven DC4 sharpening stones?

I just ordered two DC4 sharpening stones and I'm wondering how well they sharpen and hold up. They are 1.25x4" stones with fine diamond on one side and fine (looks like medium to me) ceramic on the other. I have owned diamond stones that all the diamond came off after one use. Does anyone have one of these? Thanks.
 
They are the best portable sharpener on the planet..
It will sharpen anything to a very useful edge.

The next step up are the fine water stones,
different world though, not so portable.

Awesome. They were out of stock everywhere, but now you can pick two up for $30 shipped!

I have a wide assortment of stones, but they are all either too big (2x6) or too fine (Spyderco white pocket stones).
 
Well, they haven't shipped yet and I was hoping for them this weekend...

They never said anything to me about them being backordered so it looks like they're getting an angry email. Great price + no product = horrible deal!
 
My DC4 came few days ago from a UK store. I live in Europe. Best portable sharpener ever! I've tried many minis without success. The DC4 tranformed my knives to razors in a few minutes. Highly recommended.
 
certainly not meant to judge your skills. but if you have tried many,mabey your technique could use a brush up? just mabey?
 
You can give an opinion any time Willy. Really thank you for that. I've learnt to sharpen thanks to this amazing forum and to members' recommendations and advice. I'm still learning of course, now I'm not good in sharpening, just better and the good tools certainly help a lot. I have to admit that my previous small sharpeners were very cheap, so maybe not proper. But what's the brush up?
 
brush up; just meant to practice your sharpening skills.for me i know im doin it write when the blade finds its own proper path along the stone.its verry relaxing

Mmmm great! I just checked locally and they cost about 25€ here (that's like $37.5...).

I just sent them an email to see if they can tell me the shipping cost for a single DC4 to Spain and how many of them can they fit in the same package (the DC4 is small so I will try to order a few of them to split shipping charges).

Did you figure out how much does it cost to send it to Australia? I bet it is the same than sending it to Spain. Drop me a pm or write it down here if you can.

Yes i own a one since 3 years. The DMT fine grit seems to me a bit better but you won't be disappointed. If you don't use strength to sharpen it will last a long time. The ceramic is excellent. Mine has switched from medium to fine and give a good polished edge.

I gave outdoorpros.com a bad rating via google checkout a few days ago. What do you know: The sharpeners shipped out the next day! This is after I contacted them, and they said they'd be out of stock until next month!
