Fallkniven F1 opinions

The F1 really felt awesome in my hand from the start. You get a lot of blade for a very small knife..

If you want the most economic version then go for the thermorun.

If you want something special get the mircata/wood handled versions..

I have a mircata on the way and will give you a comparison when it arrives (including pics). It may be a couple of weeks though..
 
The F1 was a knife that actually put a smile on my face when I picked it up and used it.

I remember thinking to myself ("Hey, you are actually smiling.")
 
I like the F1 but the transition from the back of the grip to the spine is too much. It needs to be flat. That would help me ignore how fat the convex is. I could deal with that if the handle was right. Otherwise it's okay I guess.
 
Hard use knife indeed! My F1 was my goto knife for camping for years. Batoned with it, made feather sticks, food prep opened cans and still held an edge. My woodlore has replaced it for the time being. But its always is still brought on all my trips....Just in case!
