Fallkniven F1 vs. Bark River Custom Highland Special

If you need stainless, the Bark River in CPM S35VN is hard to beat.

Though I really like the performance of Bark River's regular A2 steel.

Big Mike

Beautiful knife! How do you find the ergos of the handle? is it big enough for all 4 fingers? I'm worried it might be a little small based on all the pics. It also seems that the index finger will be awfully close to the cutting edge.

How is the handle in your experience?

Also - I found out that the 4" is not a measurement of the cutting edge, it's actually including the metal part of the handle where your index finger rides. I believe someone measured the cutting edge at 3.5".

Initially I was thinking this knife was very comparable in size to the Fallkniven F1. How much smaller than the F1?

Thanks!

kniveshipfree.com sells Fallknivens that have Micata or G10 or wood handles that have been built by Bark River, so you get the best of both worlds! I have an F1 and it is freakin awesome!
