Fallkniven Releasing 5 New Knives

Ugh... I feel like they went a littlebit too much to the trendy "tacticool" way with that one... if you can call it trendy nor tacticool.

Very Fugly.:thumbdn:
IMO it should of been based on the S1. It would of looked a lot better.

I hope the kkk knife is better when it get here.
KKK thats a interesting name

I haven't seen the tang exposed on an SK series knife so this is just a WAG, but they have a pommel nut and appears it would be similar to the tang on the NL series, which is a full hidden tang.

Thank. Any price info on it yet?

That Bowie is just SEXY:cool:

Suggested retail on the SK6 here in Canada is $399.99.

Things are usually a bit lower price in the US. $369 - $379 ??

Kevin

EDIT: Just noticed one Canadian reseller has the SK6 listed at $370.00. Haven't seen a US price yet.

U2 is the 'big' brother of the U4 .Both have that great super steel SGPS and since the handle is one piece molded plastic the cost is reasonable despite the SPGS. With my large hand the U2 is as small as I want to go !

Are U2 & U4 both lockback? Is there a slipjoint Fallkniven model with similar dimensions to these two?

I'm craving a good quality all-the-time pocket blade that is light and thin and these seem awfully nice. ;)

The only Fallkniven slip joint knife is the U1.

I don't own one, but it looks like a nice little knife, they feature the 3G steel blade, and dimensions would be similar to the U2.

I was initially thinking slipjoint, but I have a couple of easy to carry SAK's that fill that role, so no harm in a U2/U4 lockback.

I think the U2 is a more useful size, and pretty small as it is, but the U4 is interesting because I don't have anything quite that small. Only 11mm difference in blade length, but the U4 is almost half the weight of the U2. It really must disappear in the pocket!

anybody got their hands on a U4 yet?

Bought it 10 days ago.
Both blade and handle are 1/2" shorter than the U2.(The U2 3" handle and the blade 2.5")
Handy and light but a "two-finger" knife,I have put a short lanyard to make it more "comfortable" in the hand.
Like the U2 the blade steel is just amazing.
A good back-up knife when you are in "public" areas.

U1 is one of the best folders I've ever bought. It's tough little workhorse that works better for me than any "heavy use" folders. I have convexed it and it cuts like nothing else!

Not sure if this is considered by Fallkniven to be one of the "new" releases for 2011. But they just announced that the F1/3G will be available again in the next couple weeks.

This release will not be a limited edition numbered series.
